At Resource Solutions, we pride ourselves on giving back to our community. We currently have partnerships with Global Angels Foundation and National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), while also hosting an annual Global Charity Day where staff can select local charities to support and make a difference in their own communities. In addition, we provide the opportunity for all employees globally to use a paid day off to volunteer at a charity of their own choosing.

In the United States, we divide our team into Engagement Hives dependent on location. Currently, there are established Hives in Tampa, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas, with more to come as we expand our services across the United States. Each Hive is committed to meeting, remotely and in-person, several times a year for engagement opportunities such as volunteering, social activities, and community events.

The Tennessee Hive met up in person for the first time ever in July and spent a productive day volunteering at Second Harvest Foodbank of Middle Tennessee in Nashville, TN. Second Harvest Food Bank is one of 200 food banks in the Feeding America network that collectively provides food assistance to 46 million Americans struggling with hunger. Jenny Lambert, Tre Maclin and Chris Blaney assisted with sorting and boxing over 3,700 lbs of frozen food that will be distributed to over 2,600 families throughout middle Tennessee!

“It was so nice to meet up and truly get to work side by side, helping our community,” reflected Jenny Lambert, who leads the Tennessee Engagement Hive, “while we all got to know each other on a personal level.” The day proved so rewarding that the Hive plans to make the day volunteering at Second Harvest an annual event.
