Resource Solutions reaches Level 2 of the Disability Confident scheme
Resource Solutions has taken the next step on the Disability Confident journey, reaching Level 2 of the UK government’s Disability Confident scheme. Following this achievement, we’re very proud to reaffirm our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion (ED&I) and be recognised as a Disability Confident Employer.
The scheme is designed to encourage employers to think differently about disability and improve how they recruit, retain and develop disabled people. As part of our journey, we’ve reviewed our hiring process to ensure it is inclusive and accessible, removing any potential barriers to disabled people and those with long-term health conditions and offering reasonable adjustments to support this. In addition, we’ve committed to providing internal training sessions for our managers to ensure they can support their teams, including any disabled staff – particularly when they return to work after a period of absence.
We’re grateful to be part of this scheme and excited to contribute to this movement of change. Becoming a Disability Confident Employer will help us ensure that disabled people have opportunities within our company to receive the support and resources they need to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations.
