Norma Gillespie, MD of the EMEA and US regions at outsourcing recruitment specialists Resource Solutions, has been named among the top 150 female leaders and influencers in the global talent marketplace by the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA).

For the sixth year running, the US-based SIA revealed their ‘Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing’ list. Comprising the Americas 100 and the International 50, the Global Power 150 list is not a ranking but a way to shine a spotlight on women in leadership positions, recognising the significant contributions and influence of women throughout the staffing and recruitment industry.

The diverse cohort of leaders, ranging from CEOs and business founders, to division heads and tech leaders, helps to shape a global staffing industry worth an annual sum of nearly $500 billion.

Commenting on her inclusion in this year’s field of influencers and change-makers, Gillespie said:

“I’m honoured and humbled to be named among such an impressive group of women, who are leading the way in our industry and continuing to push boundaries. Despite this year presenting us with unparalleled change in our global economy, now is a thrilling time to be a female leader, and I’m delighted to be included among my peers on SIA’s respected list.”

Founded in 1989, SIA is the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions. Their research covers all categories of employed and non-employed work, including temporary staffing, independent contracting and other types of contingent labour.
