- Serve as the Nomura relationship manager with key contacts at universities (i.e. careers services, placement offices, deans, faculties, student societies.)
- Reporting into the Head of Graduate Recruitment and managing a junior recruiter,
- Drive the recruiting effort for the investment banking division – thinking creatively, strategically, commercially and competitively
- Collaborate and work closely with our D&I team to drive the Diversity & Inclusion recruiting initiatives to expand our diverse talent pipeline, partnering with external and internal stakeholders
- Research, develop, and implement innovative best practices across the full life cycle of recruitment and programs, with a focus on diversity and inclusion
- Own and drive complete strategic and marketing initiatives on campus (e.g. emails, e-shots, advertisements and posters)
- Project-manage and attend all campus events (e.g. careers fairs, workshops, case studies, presentations etc.)
- End to end support and execution of key recruitment pipeline programmes (e.g. Summer Interns, Work Placements, Off Cycles)
- Keep abreast of trends in recruitment, market intelligence, and competitor benchmarking
- Build relationships with key recruiting contacts within the business and HR and partner with them on regional strategy/ business plans
- Work with the business to highlight strong candidates on campus and ultimately develop and coach them throughout the process
- Monitor and help drive the sell process for all candidates once an offer has been extended
- Work with team members on recruiting projects such as managing the insight programs and summer internship programs
- Produce annual campus recruitment analysis reports
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Previous Campus Recruitment experience with at least three completed milk round cycles, preferably at a financial institution
- Previous experience in implementing innovative best practices to further the D&I agenda will be hugely beneficial
- Partnering with clients and colleagues: solid oral and written communication and relationship management skills; client facing and credible; strong negotiation skills; ability to develop internal and external relationships; ability to manage diverse stakeholders and to build networks quickly
- Results-orientated: ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to clients
- Strong Project Management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities and project plan on an annual basis
- Strong analytical skills.
- Critical analysis, forward thinking; ability to foresee the impact of emerging trends/patterns – strong competency of excel required
- Strong team player: ability to work effectively in teams a must
- Ability to thrive in a deadline driven and fast paced environment
- Must be willing to travel
