Resource Solutions and the Client
We have worked in partnership with our clients supplying recruitment services globally since 2007. Our consultative service focuses on partnering with our clients at a strategic level, ensuring that we provide a high level of relationship management and market insights to key stakeholders and hiring managers. Operationally, we are responsible for delivering the following core services through our delivery teams in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- Permanent, temporary and contractor recruitment across all levels and business areas (RPO and MSP)
- Advisory services including diverse hiring, assessments and employer brand and experience
About the Role:
The Direct Recruiter is responsible for proactively sourcing permanent candidates externally for approved roles, as well as managing all applicants from our direct advertising to ensure our onsite Recruitment Partners have a suitable number of high-quality candidates for each position under management.
As our Direct Recruiters own all elements of a candidate relationship, they are responsible for managing the candidate through the recruitment process including sourcing, briefing, shortlisting, CV feedback, interview preparation and offer management.
Responsibilities:
- Source candidates through a range of channels, including web adverts, referrals, networking, and candidate databases
- Build, develop and maintain an in-house candidate database and systems to manage workflows, like tracking spreadsheets
- Contact and interview prospective candidates, keeping records of all contact and outcomes
- Handle both permanent and temporary recruitment briefs
- Keep in touch with everyone who’s placed through direct recruitment
- Make sure all roles are advertised internally and on external careers sites
- Liaise with line managers to make sure feedback is given on all CVs and interviews
- Manage the offer process, including providing up-to-date salary and market information as well as comparing the data from other recent hires in that business area
- Keeping the account manager informed about your progress, including how many roles have been filled through referrals, internal advertising, and direct sourcing – you will also outline any cost savings and any new candidate attraction initiatives
- Undertake ad hoc project work from time to time
Essential Skills:
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- End to end recruitment experience i.e. salary negotiations, ATS usage
- Hybrid work arrangement
- Portfolio: Manufacturing hires (warehouse, QA, production) in Malaysia and intern hiring for Malaysia & Singapore
- Preferred: experience in manufacturing hiring ideally with union workers
- Preferred: Immediate availability or 1 month notice, or ability to buyout notice period
