About the Role:
A new opportunity has become available for a team leader to join us on a 12 month FTC to cover maternity leave. This is an excellent role that will sit on site with one of our well established clients, in their graduate space looking at Investment banking. The ideal candidate will have had a number of years exposure to the graduate and early careers space and the ability to manage a small team.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Reporting into the Head of Graduate Recruitment EMEA and managing two team members, whilst closely collaborating with key stakeholders across the business
• Provide strong leadership and direction for the team, playing an active part in all recruitment related initiatives and incorporate relevant campus and industry insights to ensure our attraction, recruitment and retention strategies are fit for purpose
• Take ownership and drive the recruiting effort for the investment banking division – thinking creatively, strategically, commercially and competitively with a strong D&I focus
• Collaborate and work closely with our D&I team to drive the Diversity & Inclusion recruiting initiatives to expand our diverse talent pipeline, partnering with external and internal stakeholders
• Serve as the Nomura relationship manager with key contacts at universities (i.e. careers services, placement offices, deans, faculties, student societies.)
• Research, develop, and implement innovative best practices across the full life cycle of recruitment and programs, with a focus on diversity and inclusion
• Own and drive complete strategic and marketing initiatives on campus (e.g. emails, e-shots, advertisements and posters)
• Project-manage, host and attend campus events (e.g. careers fairs, workshops, case studies, presentations, banking treks, etc.)
• End to end support and execution of
• your campus attraction strategy, selection & CV screening process, managing the interview and offer process and keep warm strategy
• key recruitment pipeline programmes (e.g. Summer Interns, Work Placements, Off Cycles)
• Keep abreast of trends in recruitment, market intelligence, and competitor benchmarking
• Build relationships with key recruiting contacts within the business and HR and partner with them on regional strategy/ business plans
• Work with the business to highlight strong candidates on campus and ultimately develop and coach them throughout the process
• Monitor and help drive the sell process for all candidates once an offer has been extended
• Work with team members on recruiting projects such as managing the insight programs and summer internship programs
• Produce annual campus recruitment analysis reports
Who you are:
• Previous Campus Recruitment experience with at least three completed milk round cycles, preferably at a financial institution
• Previous experience in implementing innovative best practices to further the D&I agenda will be hugely beneficial
• Partnering with clients and colleagues: solid oral and written communication and relationship management skills; client facing and credible; strong negotiation skills; ability to develop internal and external relationships; ability to manage diverse stakeholders and to build networks quickly
• Results-orientated: ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to clients
• Strong Project Management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities and project plan on an annual basis
• Strong analytical skills.
• Critical analysis, forward thinking; ability to foresee the impact of emerging trends/patterns – strong competency of excel required
• Strong team player: ability to work effectively in teams a must
• Ability to thrive in a deadline driven and fast paced environment
• Must be willing to travel
• University graduate (not a requirement, but will be beneficial for this role if in terms of campus cycle insights)
