About the Role:

A Good way to very develop financial / commercial modelling as you will be doing this daily. Exposure to the wider group – work with lots of client team and stakeholders – develop softer skills and dynamic role with frequent contact with C suite stakeholders

The Commercial Analyst will focus on providing commercial modelling of new client opportunities and will also support strategic commercial initiatives across our portfolio of clients in EMEA. The analyst will work closely with the Head of Commercials (EMEA and US), Account Directors and the Sales Function, delivering high quality pricing and commercial analysis.

The centralised Commercial Function is responsible for providing Resource Solutions with high value commercial and analytical support globally. Sitting as a standalone function adjacent to the front office, the team partners with both the Sales and Operations Functions to provide, pricing, commercial analysis and advice focused on large client opportunities and strategic projects globally. The team is based primarily out of London with Singapore providing support to the APAC region.

Responsibilities:

Supporting the Sales and Commercial Functions through

• Analysis of data received from existing and prospective clients
• Commercial modelling of those opportunities to determine a suite of client pricing
• Engaging with multiple internal stakeholder groups across the business
• Preparing presentation materials to both internal and external stakeholders
• Assisting in data gathering for strategic projects
• Assisting in the development of operating models for strategic projects

Skills and Experience:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject
• Accounting and Finance qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CFA desired
• Self-starter – able to work autonomously while also being a key part of the wider team
• The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, delivering against BAU and ad hoc deadlines
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (index/match, sumifs, pivot tables, etc.) and strong numerical skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work to multiple deadlines and deliverables
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, ability to interact professionally with a diverse group
• Able to manipulate datasets to extract key information to be used in modelling existing and prospective client opportunities
• Analytical and logical thinker with fastidious attention to detail
• Be able to tell a story through data analysis
