Function: To support our strategic objective of offering our people better careers, which will push them, encourage them and offer endless possibilities as well as working towards a target of having 100% of our people proud to work for RS. The Learning and Organisational Development Specialist is a global role within the HR team to ensure we deliver our Global People Priorities aligned to the Resource Solutions strategy. This role will also work with the Group Talent Development (GTD) team which supports the global needs in terms of Interpersonal Skills and Management Development for example and partner with the team to roll out the programs for the region.
1.Learning and Development Portfolio
Design and Delivery of strategically aligned Learning and Development programmes/modules to support the development of skills, knowledge and behaviours that enable high performance.
Be the expert in Operational Training required to develop and enhance the recruiter skills of the staff and ensure they have the skills required to perform highly.
Supporting the design and delivery of New Service Training where required.
As an example, this is likely to include Soft Skills & Interpersonal Effectiveness, and working with the GTD subject matter expert to deliver Management development and Aspiring Manager workshops
2.Organisation of learning and delivery
Conduct formal and informal needs assessments to continue to build the most relevant and timely learning solutions for the business.
Responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of Learning and Development Programmes
Leverage technology and wider RS community for networked learning and sharing best practices.
Demonstrate the ability to flexibly manage and adapt priorities, resources and project initiatives in a global and regional environment.
3.Communications / Engagement
Driving learner engagement, building a culture of continuous development and helping individuals reach their potential.
Influencing and developing relationships with key stakeholders to increase integration of the key People Priorities
Aligning discussions with our key stakeholders to our core strategic objectives and overall strategy – an ability to operationalise the strategy and develop solutions
Supporting the communications of new initiatives across RS
