London, October 20, 2009, Today Resource Solutions expanded its client base into the utilities industry, winning a contract to deliver outsourced recruitment for EDF Energy Networks. Responsible for most permanent hiring, as well as all technical temporary and contract recruitment, the dedicated Resource Solutions on-site team will support the HR recruitment team in managing the recruitment process. The contract includes maximising direct candidate attraction and managing supply neutrally through a preferred supplier list of recruitment agencies.
Emma Nicholls, Head of Resourcing for EDF Energy Networks, explained why Resource Solutions had been chosen as its partner for recruitment outsourcing:
“With a large community of about 5,000 employees, who are located throughout the East and South East of England and many different hiring practices in place; we recognised the need to streamline the way we recruit our people in order to achieve efficiencies.
“We had seen how successfully Resource Solutions had worked with their other clients to fully outsource their recruitment processes and were keen to engage with them. We chose Resource Solutions after a formal tender process because of their strengths as a proven process outsourcer and their willingness to really tailor their services to our business. They will be working with our choice of recruitment agencies and have built their service around our choice of technology. We look forward to delivering a more streamlined recruitment process that engages with our business and reduces time-to-hire.”
Commenting on the exciting win, Darren Lancaster, Managing Director at Resource Solutions, said: "We are delighted that EDF Energy Networks has selected Resource Solutions to be its recruitment outsourcing partner. We look forward to using our wealth of experience to redefine the way recruitment works here and deliver some valuable improvements in time-to-hire and cost of hiring."
